The Niikurayama Asama Park Observation Deck is the highest observation deck in Japan, offering an enviable view of Mount Fuji.
Located halfway up Niikurayama, the view after climbing the 398 steps is well worth the effort.
Shinkura Fuji Sengen Shrine is a historic shrine founded in 750 AD.
Its symbol is a five-storied pagoda, and when the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji from here.
At the Oishi Tsumugi Traditional Craft Museum, you can see the history of Oishi Tsumugi and purchase strong, light, and soft silk fabrics made using traditional techniques that have been passed down since the Edo period.
