Documented for the first time in the 13th century the Castle Tratzberg was used as former border stronghold against the Bavarians and as Emperor Maximilian’s I hunting lodge. Experience originally furnished Renaissance rooms and Gothic panelled parlours, the armoury and the Habsburg Hall with its impressive imperial family tree!

Schloss Tratzberg is one of Europe's last inhabited stately homes and residence of the Counts Goëss-Enzenberg
