Mikumi National Park provides great safari experience regardless of the time you have in Dar Es Salaam or Morogoro town. Tours are tailor made to suit your interest, budget and time. Trips are in small groups of up to 6 persons with private/and or family options are available too. In Mikumi expect to see wild animals such as Lions, Buffalos, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos and more than 300 bird species.

On this day you will be picked up from your residency to be taken to the train station to take the 0600 hours Express train to Morogoro SGR train Station. You will arrive in Morogoro town at 0740 hours and be picked to start your drive to Mikumi National Park with breakfast stop in Morogoro town.
When you arrive in Mikumi you will be checked in and start game drives with lunch break taken within the park. In Mikumi expect to see animals such as Lions, Buffalos, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos and more than 300 bird species.

After game drives you will start driving back to Morogoro town at around 16:00 hours to be able to catch the 1925 hours train to Dar Es Salaam. When you arrive in Dar at 2105 hours you will be taken to your residency/hotel and that will be the end of your day trip.
