Embark in our airconditioned modern mini bus and the fascinating tour of Meteora starts!

Reach the Meteora rocks, where an unforgettable experience awaits you. Comprising of sandstone and conglomerate, the caves at Meteora are thought to have been inhabited as early as 50,000 years ago.

Listen about the history and the importance of the area by our local guide and enter 2 active monasteries to have a glipse of the monks life . (entrance not included 3 euros)

In the 9th century, monks began inhabiting them again and in the 14th century, the first monasteries were built. Nowadays, Meteora is home to one of the most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries. See all six of these monasteries built on large naturally-formed pillars as you explore and take pictures of a lifetime.
