Discover the secrets of the tricky business of art restoration in this all-female, art restoration lab. They hold the honor of being one of two labs in the entire world who have restored three Caravaggio paintings. Hear their story of the public restoration of Caravaggio's 'Madonna of Loreto' in the church of Sant' Agostino. You'll see the master artisans in action, restoring some of the current 16th century paintings in their workshop.
Before the lab, you'll visit the church of Sant' Agostino and see the 'Madonna of Loreto', one of the Caravaggio's the lab restored. Then, you'll visit the masterful St. Matthew series at San Luigi dei Francesi.
