After half an hour driving, the first site you will visit is the House of Virgin Mary. It is believed that she was brought here by St. John and that she spent her last years in this area. After you get all the necessary information from your guide, you will have enough time to explore the site on your own.
There is 15 minute driving from the House of Virgin Mary to Ephesus. You will start your Ephesus visit from the upper site gate. During this 2 hour visit you will have chance to learn about the history of Ephesus and see the highlights of this site: Odeon, Celsus Library, Great Theater and Hercules Gate. You will have plenty of time to walk around and take photos, if some group members want, they can visit the Terrace Houses, houses of rich Ephesians; (additional entrance fee).
On the way back to the port, we would make the last stop in the Temple of Artemis. There is not much left to see on the site, but the history on this ancient site is very interesting. Your tour finishes at Kusadasi port.
