Detailed itinerary

We will provide a transfer service for the customer's convenience, with pick up at any hotel in the Manaus city area. We normally use private cars

Stop 2

By speedboat, you will explore different parts of the Amazon, you will see the Manaus waterfront, where you will see the port, the Manaus market, and its different areas, and there will be explanations about the places where you will pass by. The first famous attraction will be the meeting of the rivers, Negro and Solimoes, together they form the mighty Amazon River, stop for photos and explanation.

By speedboat, you will pass by a small village formed by floating houses, where the locals live on water all year round. Their life is based on the water cycles, we will pass slowly to see the houses and how they live in that place.

Stop 4

There are a small tributaries around the village where you can see the beauty of Amazon region, nature, rivers and flooded forest, available from February to August.

Stop 5

Janauary lake is the main spot in our day tour, in that place we will stop and walk over wooden bridges to see the famous giant lily pads, beautiful aquatic plants that reach more than 2 meters in diameter, in the same area you will enjoy the landscape and the richness in wildlife available.
Stop for lunch in a local restaurant, which was built over the river, is an amazing experience where you can enjoy the regional life.
After lunch, we will take the boat and we will explore more of the flooded forest. The flooded forest tour is possible only from February to August, when the river levels are high enough to navigate. During the other period, the place is completely dry.

Stop 6

In the same area, we will search for a good place to fish for piranhas. The locals fear them due to their sharp teeth, using bamboo pools and pieces of beef, we will fish for them in the jungle and wait for the sunset to do the next activity

Sailing through the Negro river, we will explore some beautiful areas by slow navigation, and you can see the beauty and majesty of river dolphins, observing them from far in their natural habitat.

Stop 8

When the night comes, with a powerful flashlight, you will search for the Amazonian alligators. Together with your guide, you can listen to the night sounds and spot other nocturnal animals in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. The tour intends to show the alligators, to explain their behavior, and then release them in the same place to avoid any impact on their life.

After this activity, you will come back to Manaus and will be transferred to your hotel in Manaus.

After the tour, you will come back to Manaus using a local port, and the transfer will take you to the hotel.
