Stop 1

9am: pick up from Your Hotel, Hyderabad airport, or other desired location in Hyderabad and enjoy guided city tour visiting Salarjung Museum - Popularly known for its one of largest one-man collections of antiques of the world by Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III. Mir Yousuf Ali Khan dedicated his entire life collecting antiques and artifacts and spent considerable amount of his wealth collecting the same from all over the world. With a collection of close to 43000 art objects, 9000 manuscripts and 47000 printed books.

Stop 2

A major landmark in the city, the Charminar was built just two years after the founding of Hyderabad. A monument with four graceful minarets, it is often referred to as the Arc de Triomphe of the East. Its central structure soars to a height of 180 feet.

Stop 3

Built towards the end of the 17th century, Mecca Masjid takes its name from the Grand Mosque in Mecca. This is the oldest mosque in Hyderabad and one of largest in India. It is an imposing shrine has a main hall capable of hosting 10,000 worshipers at one time. The construction of this mosque was started by Sultan Muhammad Qutub Shah.

Stop 4

This 18th-century palace is amongst the prettiest structures built by the Asaf Jahis. Said to be a replica of the Shah’s Palace in Iran, it was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty where the Nizams entertained their official guests and royal visitors. Here you can see a collection of vintage cars and family heirlooms in this regal palace with scenic gardens, grand structures and baroque interiors.

Stop 5

The Nizam’s Museum is based in the Purani Haveli, the palace of the former monarchy. The museum exhibits the gifts and mementos presented to the last Nizam on the occasion of the silver jubilee celebrations in 1937. A 1930 Rolls Royce, Packard and a Mark V Jaguar are among the vintage cars displayed. There is an interesting collection of models made in silver of all the prominent buildings of the city, gold burnished wooden throne used for the silver jubilee celebrations, gold tiffin box inlaid with diamonds, and a gold model of Jubilee Pavilion.

Stop 6

Located quite close to the Charminar is a very old market popular for bangles. It is said that the market has been there since the Qutub Shahis and the Nizams era and thus presents a living heritage of the city. The market, not just offers wide range of colour bangles to customers but also zari and embroidery works, sarees to other traditional clothing stuff along semi-precious stones. Laad bazaar pearls are equally famous too.

Around 5pm Your tour ends with return to your hotel or other desired location in Hyderabad.
