About this experience

At Hoi An Bamboo Workshop, you will be surprised and excited to see all the different household facilities and items created from bamboo. You will be taught how to make different items from bamboo and you can take them back home as souvenirs after enjoying this exciting handcrafting experience with Amazing Local Craftsman.

You will have a chance to make your unique and only-one bamboo souvenir to bring back home or give to a special friend or loved one. First, you will be welcomed in our home to enjoy natural comfort of the bamboo world! There, the artisan will tell you the history, usage and characteristics of bamboo in Vietnam from the traditional to modern perspective. You will then start to make your chosen souvenir to take back home. Examples of products are: pen holder, flower vase, bird cage, iPhone speaker, children’s toys, animals, etc.
