Embark on a serene cruise along the majestic Mekong River aboard a traditional Lao riverboat – a 3hr journey that reveals an ever-changing landscape.
After setting off along the meandering waterway from Luang Prabang Boat Pier, we enjoy a refreshing selection of seasonal fruits accompanied by lemongrass and herbal-infused juices, served on the open-air deck – the perfect vantage point to absorb the spectacular view.
Although the majority of visitors flock to Luang Prabang – the country’s biggest tourism draw – for its architectural treasures, including a stately palace and 33 glittering temples in close proximity, the surrounding countryside should not be missed.
