Detailed itinerary

1

Your driver for the day will arrive in time for your pick-up before heading off for a nature-based adventure. This educational and fun day starts at the Khao Nor Chu Chi National Park to admire and appreciate some gifts of nature.

Krabi’s Khao Nor Chuchi National Parks is part of a larger protected region in one of the last remaining wetland regions in the country. Also known as the Bang Kram Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its abundance of wildlife, visitors get an up-and-close impression of various bird species and the lush nature via a 1.4km-long leisurely nature trail, showcasing the biodiversity of this region. The renowned Emerald Pool and a few soothing hot springs are located within the same protected zone. Your guide will start the trip with a visit to the thermal spring pools nestled deeply in the rainforest and take a dip in the hot pools.

Stop 2

Your guide will start the trip with a visit to the thermal spring pools nestled deeply in the rainforest and take a dip in the hot pools.

The day continues. See how rubber is tapped from the trees and produced into latex sheets before shipped off to find its way to the numerous factories worldwide. This age-old method stands the test of time as the tree trunk receives some carefully placed carves to let the sap flow freely into a container. En route, we make a stop to take a break from adventure, as our team on the ground will serve you a picnic lunch.

3
Stop 3

Our last stop of the day is the 1000-year old Wat Tham Sua, otherwise known as the Tiger Cave Monastery, to see the hillside temple complex in which monks live and worship within a maze of caves. One of the caves near this forest temple has what appears to be tiger paw prints embedded in stone. Bring some good and comfortable walking shoes with you as an of 1,272 steps lead to a magnificent 600-metre high lookout point revealing Panombenja National Park in the north, and probably the best views looking out over Krabi.
