Firstly, you will be taken to visit the Kandy temple. Pay your respect to ‘Dalada Maligawa’ or the ‘Palace of the sacred tooth relic’ where the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined. Leave Kandy temple and the ride to visit Bahirawakanda temple. Bahirawakanda temple is another hidden treasure in Kandy. Continue your Tuk ride to visit flourishing Royal Botanical garden in Peradeniya. This garden is renowned for bundles of varieties of plants including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. You will witness the flower arches which are waiting to welcome you! Don’t by-pass the giant Javan tree, which is a nice place to have a sit & take a snap!
