Meet your private guide in your Guangzhou hotel lobby at 9:00 a.m. First up, visit the city's Yuexiu Park, and see the Five Rams Sculpture and Zhenhai Tower. Afterward, take a lunch break, and enjoy a typical Guangzhou lunch (own expense).

Stop 2

In the afternoon, visit the more-than-1,000-year-old Buddhist Temple of Six Banyan Trees, which was first built by the monk Tanyu under orders from Emperor Wu. Then go to Chen Clan Academy, one of the most famous ancestral temples in the whole city.

Continue your tour, and head over to Lychee Bay and Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, which is a memorial building to commemorate Sun Yat-sen, the great revolutionary leader. It has witnessed many historic events in Guangzhou, a memorable one and is now an important venue for large-scale rallies and performances in Guangzhou.

Once your tour has come to an end, you'll be escorted back to your hotel at around 5 p.m.
