About this experience

You and your friends will embark on an three-hours and a half Spanish gastronomy tour in the heart of Madrid's stunning historic centre. You will have the opportunity to discover local Spanish food experience and enjoy the unique way locals go out to eat. You will also walk through streets where each and every corner has something to tell. Once our experienced guide concludes our Tapas Tours in Madrid, your stomach will be completely full of yummy food and also you will have a wide knowledge of our day to day habits. Plus in all our tours there is a Secret Dish, which you can only find out about on the day.

As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

Detailed itinerary

You'll start in a historic pastry shop to enjoy a seasonal pastry. Followed by a visit to a deli over 180 years old, here we'll sample two types of Iberian ham, manchego cheese and extra virgin olive oil. You'll dine on a classic deep fried squid sandwich, a local favorite. We'll eat one outstanding tapa and share a bottle of Spanish cider. Taste a vermouth with the tapa of the day, a favourite with the locals. Finish the tour inside a restaurant that is located inside an 18th century building with a piece of Spanish omelette and the Secret Dish that changes every day.

Meeting point

The meeting spot is outside metro Sol (lines 1, 2 and 3), where the "Oso y Madroño" statue, just in front of the Apple store, the guide will be waiting with and Orange umbrella and a big smile!
