Your next stop is Quinta da Regaleira, one of the most amazing monuments of Sintra. Quinta da Regaleira is one of the most startling, magical and mysterious of the area. You will explore its tunnels, mazes and its riddles and symbols that are reminiscent of the mythology of Olympus, Virgil, Dante, Camões and of the Knights Templar Order. A place not to be missed! Climb to the Moorish Castle where the construction of the first sections of its wall dates from the 8th and 9th century. From the castle, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the whole region.
