8:00am, Arrive at Can Tho city - capital of Southwest, start day with a visit to Cai Rang Floating Market. While crossing Mekong River, observe daily activities of local people on the banks, see traditional-style houses in which local people live as well as beautiful orchards, busy ships - building yards and bustling markets where they make their livelihood.
We try to enjoy breakfast at the floating market, drink a speacial coffee/soft drink, pineapple on boat.
10:00am, Disembark before exploring Son Islet - an islet in the middle of Hau River which is separated not far away from the mainland with alluvial consolidating green orchids all year round and the honest, lovely and enthusiastic people.

8:00 am, Arrive at Can Tho city - the capital of the Southwest, start the day with a visit to Cai Rang Floating Market. While crossing the Mekong River, observe the daily activities of local people on the banks, see traditional -style houses in which the local people live as well as beautiful orchards, busy ships - building yards and bustling markets where they make their livelihood.
Having breakfast on the floating market. It is a wonderful experience when you can enjoy a delicious countrified breakfast, along with an unsteady feeling whenever the waves hit the side of the boat that will make you feel excited.
Meanwhile, you have the opportunity to dive into the vibrant atmosphere of the morning fair, with welcoming laughter and the sound of floods. In particular, two famous "specialties" at Cai Rang floating market that you should not miss are "shaken noodles" and "braised coffee".
After that, our tour guide takes you to some traditional workshops. You have a great time learning how locals make “Hu Tieu” (rice vermicelli). They are soft, flat, slippery and slightly chewy. Then, the boat carries you to another place to enjoy pineapple (known as the queen of fruits) that is fresh and delicious. The seller will peel the pineapple on the spot for you to enjoy right on the boat.
10:00 am, after paying a visit to the colorful floating market check-out and disembark before heading to Cu Chi Tunnels.
1:00 pm, arrive in the Tunnels and have lunch with many specialties in the restaurant nearby.
2:00pm after lunch spending a couple of hours walking around Cu Chi’s rugged ground with our tour guide. Hear how and why the residents constructed an intricate, underground network of tunnels during the country’s recent wars. See other ingenious items used by the residents to defend themselves such as bamboo traps and camouflaged pits. Also on display are various mantras and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
At the end, crawl underground (optional) and have a look at the tiny chambers, imaging what life was like for those who lived there. Tapioca will be served as a snack when you finish the tour.
• 4:00 pm, return to the van to come back to Saigon.
