Detailed itinerary

This is 6 hours private Shanghai city tour.  We design the tour follow the time’s line. You will see traditional ancient shanghai, modern republic Shanghai and international new shanghai.

Stop 2

At the start we go back to 400 years ago Shanghai city. First you will visit the enchanting classic sights from the Ming and Qing dynasties: Yuyuan Garden and Shanghai Old Street. The garden covers a significant space and includes many halls, springs and other buildings of interest. The visit brings you back to Ming Dynasty. We will also take a look at antique street and experience ancient style tea ceremony.

Stop 3

Before we go to the next "era" and let's try some typical Dim sum as your lunch. Your guide will take you to best taste dim sum shop and you have chance to taste soup dumpling, Wanton, noddles, etc. 

 After that let’s go to 30’s Shanghai: The French concession. The former French Concession District, region 65 hectares square size area characterized by beautiful, tree-lined streets and weathered European architecture. We will visit several different section such as Wukang courtyard, Sinan masion and Tianzifang.

Stop 4

Tianzi Fang is known for small craft stores, coffee shops, trendy art studios and narrow alleys.

Stop 5

Later we are going to xintiandi: There are Shanghai traditional Shikumen lane house be well protected here. In the last century 50s there are 90% residence is the kind of architecture. Why government only keep this area not somewhere else? Let’s go to find it out. In the Xintiandi You can Cross over the old alley way and soak in the classic and modern atmosphere. You will feel like you're time-traveling.

Stop 6

Now it’s time for new international’s Shanghai. We will cross over the Huangpu river, The 3 significant buildings suddenly appear in front of you.  Shanghai tower, Financial center and Jinmao tower just become new landmark in Shanghai. Get close to old landmark: the pearl town and two globes—convention center. How you can image all the buildings you seen just be make in 30 decades.

 

Last but not least. Let’s go to the famous Bund that is no one can miss it. Known as “the Wall Street in the Far East”. The building lining the waterfront is collectively known as a “Gallery of World Architecture”, consisting of 23 river-facing buildings from the concession days. At night fall, the beautiful artistic lights one which produces a scene of crystal palaces with a fantastic charm.

 

At the end you can keep discover night life in the bund or your guide will send you back to you hotel.
