The tour itself focuses on the historic Garden District, lasts two hours and covers about 1.5 miles.

Historical context acknowledging the indigenous presence, the slave economy, the patrons of the mansions along with the architects are discussed. Local burial traditions are reflected upon OUTSIDE the gates of the historic Lafayette cemetery. Lastly a few pop culture references and celebrity related addresses are included with a special stop reserved for the Buckner Mansion, known to fans of American Horror Story (AHS) as the Miss Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies.

****Due to the City of New Orleans closing of the Lafayette cemetery for renovations , there will be NO access into the cemetery and an overview will be presented OUTSIDE of the gates.
