About this experience

The region of Quindio, where the 3 hectare farm is located, is the quintessential Colombian coffee zone, and a UNESCO world heritage site. The coffee farm is surrounded by lush green coffee trees in a walnut forest. Your coffee tour is guided by a professional taster and barista, its lasts about 3 hours and includes: the farm tour, coffee tasting and coffee served with arepas at the end.

Start your experience with a walk through the coffee and walnut forest, and learn about the different varieties of coffee and the native trees that give shade. Next you can observe coffee picking (if in harvest). Then go through the utility and dryer, to understand the cherry pulping, washing and drying process (post-harvest process). End your experience with some typical Colombian "onces" that include arepa and fresh cheese, both made by hand with ingredients from the farm, and obviously a good cup of traditional Colombian coffee from the farms single origin beans.
