If you choose the market tour grade option, your experience will include a visit to the local Taipei street market. Catherine will introduce you to her favored vendors, local produce and together you will purchase a few ingredients for your Taiwanese cooking class.

The nearest Metro station is Wende station (Exit 2) on the brown-colored Wenhu Line. Catherine’s home is about 550m from the station, about an 8-minute walk. The Wenhu Line runs from Muzha to Neihu districts, cutting through downtown Taipei, intersecting with the red-colored Tamsui-Xinyi Line, green-colored Songshan-Xindian Line, and blue-colored Bannan Line. There is a bus stop along the main road, a 2-minute walk to Catherine’s home serviced by several bus numbers: 214, 222, 278, 286, 287, 552, 620. Cab and Uber drivers are also familiar with the neighborhood and you will be able to arrive at the destination easily.
