About this experience

Enjoy a private and authentic cooking class in a local Florence home with your host Antonella and her family. This is a perfect experience for anyone looking to connect with local culture over food. Your hands-on cooking class takes place in a local home kitchen where Antonella will teach you 3-4 traditional Tuscan dishes. After cooking, enjoy your meal together with this lovely Italian family. Antonella is a warm and professional host. You will be able to tell immediately that she is a professional chef and cooking teacher, as almost half of the main floor is made up of the kitchen. She and her husband will welcome you with a classic espresso before you start cooking. After cooking, your hosts will offer you a prosecco to start (typical of Italian meals) followed by a selection of delicious Tuscan red wines. Antonella's husband is a wine lover and throughout the evening, he will engage you in conversation about the different types of wines in the region.

The location for this experience is 15 minutes from Florence, in the countryside, and is only available from May to October. You will need a car to arrive there or a private transfer - it's not possible to arrive by bus and it's difficult to find a taxi.
