Ioanna has been a food editor and editor in chief for more than 20 years. She is a passionate cook and pastry chef, who loves writing about food, creating new recipes and making cooking videos. She is most excited to share recipes that you will not find in restaurants - she calls them the hidden gems of traditional Greek cuisine. Also, she has been on a quest to revive traditional, local recipes that have been forgotten over time. Cooking traditional Greek and Mediterranean food and sweets for friends and family is something Ioanna has enjoyed over the years, and now she would love to share her passion and knowledge with travelers visiting Athens.
