This is a must do activity for travelers looking to experience authentic Lebanese cuisine and hospitality in Beirut. Your host Amal will pick you up from your Beirut hotel and drive you 20 minutes to her family home located in a quiet village in the hills above Beirut. Visit this beautiful house and garden that has been in the family for generations. Amal's father grows all their fruit, vegetables and herbs organically.
During your 3-hour food experience, learn to prepare a traditional Lebanese meal using family recipes. This is a hands-on cooking class where you will learn to cook an authentic Lebanese appetizer, salad and dessert. After cooking, sit down with the family at their dining table to enjoy the authentic Lebanese meal you helped prepare. Your class is taught by two women who love cooking and feeding people and prepare meals with the utmost love and care. Immerse yourself into this meaningful cultural and culinary experience and experience the Lebanese way of life over food!
