Chieko is a certified cooking instructor who was born and raised on Shikoku Island and then lived in Kyoto, Osaka and Los Angeles, before moving to Tokyo. Growing up on an island ensured that Chieko always has access to fresh seafood, as well as fresh vegetables and rice. She learned to cook traditional Japanese dishes from her mother . She is so excited to meet travelers from all over the world and teach them how to make a homecooked Japanese meal.
