About this experience

Learn to make North Indian dishes in a cozy home kitchen. Your host today is Shivani, who has been cooking since she was a teenager and inherited family recipes and cooking techniques from her mother. Her biggest passion is to cook for her family, and both her husband and daughter relish good food. After marrying, Shivani’s passion for cooking grew and she started to develop new recipes. She runs a catering company that provides wholesome and delicious home cooked food for parties, gatherings and office lunches.

Shivani will teach you how to make 2-3 of the dishes during your cooking lesson. This may include dal makhni, a slow cooked dish using whole black lentils, kidney beans, butter and cream, a dish with paneer (fresh Indian cheese) or rotis (flatbreads).

After learning to cook some of Shivani's favorite dishes, you will enjoy the meal together at her table.
