Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of Mumtaz Mahal (wife) between 1632-1654 AD Constructed of white marble, purity and sheer elegance symbolize endless love. It is located on the banks of the Yamuna River and spreads across nearly forty-two acres of land.

After lunch, you can visit Agra Fort (walled city) which was built in the year 1565 AD by Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is made up of many buildings like Musanman Burj, Moti Mahal and others. This fort has also been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj)

This tomb was built by the queen of Jahangir, Nurjahan between 1622 - 1628, as a memorial to her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg. It is considered the first monument to be built entirely in marble and set in a large cruciform garden criss-crossed by walkways and waterways.
