Probably the best place to watch majestic WHITE tigers from a closer distance, the National Zoological Park in Delhi homes more than 20,000 different species of birds and animals. Marshlands were especially made for the birds while massive individual open moat enclosures are available for each animal. Endangered species of animals like the White Bengal Tiger are kept in separate enclosures with massive cages among vast landscaped areas. Other animals include the African Wild Buffaloes, Asiatic Lions, Chimpanzees, Hippopotamuses, Elephants, Spider Monkeys, Cockatoos, Cranes, Emu, Kites, Painted Storks, Parakeets and the recent addition which include a pair of South American Jaguars, a pair of Grey Australian Kangaroos and three Red Lechwe African Antelopes.
Also visit an Ancient "Old Fort" after the Zoo visit which dates back to 1000 B.C !!

Pickup will be provided from Delhi hotels and you will be taken to Delhi zoo. The zoo is home to a large number of species of birds, reptiles and mammals. Some of the special attractions at the Zoo include White Tiger, Gaur, Jaguar, Rhinoceros, Elephants, Brow-antlered Deer (Sangai), Lion-tailed Macaque, Migratory birds.
It is ensured that every animal is kept in its natural surroundings and their enclosures resemble their natural habitat.
Once you enter you can find like a few Battery driven open-roof Trolleys which can accommodate 6 people at one time for their convenience and can also be hired by other people along with children for a reasonable amount (at your own cost).
A walking tour to the wildlife enclosures is scenic & picturesque. The Zoo caretakers also ensure that the Park is kept clean, waterways and pathways are well maintained and the grass is well trimmed on a frequent basis.
After the ZOO Tour, you will be taken to the nearby "Old Fort" ("Purana Quila") which is said to be extremely old since its origin is lost in antiquity. Its giant wooden doorways welcome you with pride. Inside the fort among the lush greenery you will huge relics and ruins and many of them date back to 1000 B.C !
