After breakfast, meeting at the pier, where one of our collaborators will be waiting for you. After a short stop on the floating islands of Uros, you will arrive at Taquile (at about 12.00). You will spend the whole day in the island knowing about local colture and traditions. Full board. Overnight in a rural family runned B&B on the island. To go from Taquile's pier to the B&B, where you will stay, you have to walk a bit to overcome a height difference of about 150 mt. The walk itself is not difficult except for the altitude which is around 4000 masl. This tour includes an overnight in a very simple B&B with external WC. It is important to have a little adaptability.
Peruresponsabile.com is managing, on the island, a project called "Yachay Ñan". We put on a new little library to improve the reading and comprehension capacity, promoting the alphabetization process of the children who live in the island.
