Detailed itinerary

1

Silves is a beautiful medieval town. It was the capital of the Algarve during the period of Arab rule and is known for its rich history and cultural heritage. The town is dominated by its impressive red sandstone castle, which was built by the Moors in the 8th century and later fortified by the Christian kings during the Reconquista. Visitors can explore the castle and its walls, which offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The town's narrow, winding streets are lined with whitewashed houses and traditional shops selling local handicrafts and souvenirs. Other notable landmarks include the 13th-century Cathedral. The market is also a must-see.

2

Monchique is best visited on foot.

A walk trough the steep streets of the town centre is rewarded with the views of magnificent hills, glimpsed between houses, and moments of calm in unsuspected corners. We will park outside the town, then we`ll lead you walking to the center of the town.

The guide will then set up a meeting point for pick up, and from there the customers will have more than 2 hours to enjoy Monchique on their own (Including a lunch break).

3

Discover the peaceful charm of Caldas de Monchique, a cozy village often known as Termas de Monchique. It's loved for its soothing thermal springs and beautiful, green forest surroundings. Just a heads-up, only one small spring is open to the public.
