Miniworld Rotterdam is an indoor miniature world that offers you a unique way to explore the city of Rotterdam, her stories, her architecture and absorbing maritime tradition, all in a bird’s eye view.

When you look closely, you will discover many surprising and often amusing details. As you walk through our miniature world you will encounter various themes: vast rural landscapes, filled with windmills and typical Dutch villages; the city of Rotterdam, both modern and historical, including the largest indoor miniature port of Europe; and last, but not least, Great-Britain. This part is not completely ready yet, but can be visited and is already very interesting.

Beware! In Miniworld a day only lasts 24 minutes. Before you know it night falls. Tens of thousands of lights sparkle in the dark.
The one thing that never changes is the good weather, because Miniworld Rotterdam is an indoor attraction with air conditioning!

Over the past ten years Miniworld has received several public awards. Come visit and experience over 600 m2 of this large and breathtaking miniature world, close to Rotterdam Central Station. Not only can you explore the City of Rotterdam, you can also explore Rotterdam’s fascinating maritime tradition centered on Europe’s busiest port, as well as vast rural Dutch landscapes filled with windmills and typical Dutch villages.

In Miniworld Rotterdam a day lasts 24 minutes. When night falls, thousands of tiny lights sparkle in the dark. Everywhere intercity express trains speed to their destinations, lorries bring their loads to and from Europe’s largest miniature harbour; everything is in motion. Look closely and discover the many surprising and often amusing details in this exceptional world. The one thing that never changes is the good weather because Miniworld Rotterdam is an indoor attraction.

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 12.00 to 17.00 hrs. Saturday & Sunday: 10.00 to 17.00 hrs.  Opening times are extended during school holidays – for exact times visit our website.

Miniworld Rotterdam is easily accessible. Only 5 minutes walk from Rotterdam Central Station. You can park in the immediate vicinity, in Parking Garage P1 of the Groot Handelsgebouw, right next to our main entrance.
