Tour will start from our office located in the Circumvesuviana train station in Sorrento. By train that leaves from Sorrento, you’ll arrive in Pompeii in about 30 minutes. From here, in our office, it will start the 2hour guided group tour for the archaelogical site of Pompeii. The guide will show you and explain you the highlights of the park and it will let you literally jump back in the past.
After the visit you will spend 1hour free in Pompeii.
In the afternoon you will enjoy a bus transfer from Pompeii to Mount Vesuvius until 1000mt high. Once arrived, you will be able to hike to the crater with the entry tickets we will provide you and enjoy the view of breath-taking landscapes on Sorrento Coast and Neapoletan Bay.
After that, we will bring you back to Pompeii by bus, in time to come back to Sorrento with the train.
You will discover Pompeii with an authorized guide, avoiding the queue at the entrance. Pompeii is a very large (170 acres) and complex archeological site. The guide will show you the highlights of the ruins.
We will drive up you to Mt.Vesuvius. Enjoy the breathtaking views across the bay of Naples with Capri, Sorrento and Ischia in the distance, but is the view down the massive crater that is the lasting memory for most.
Pick-up your tickets in the Tempio Travel office in Sorrento Circumvesuviana Station. Please be ready to board the train at least 15 minutes before departure.
