After your personal pick up from the accommodation we
drive along leafy residential areas, Lake Monger and along the coast to Scarborough Beach , Trigg Beach and Sorrento Beach.
Next, we head North to Lancelin. You will gradually notice an incredible change of scenery, driving through immense farmland, unique native bushland, and the dramatic and spectacular Indian Ocean coastline with its glistening turquoise water.
Stop at the coastal town of Lancelin to visit the amazing brilliant white sand dunes.
A short drive along the dirt track takes you right next to these incredible sand dunes where we will be able to take photos, climb and walk along the sand dunes.
For the most daring and adventurous I offer the option of experiencing sand boarding (sand boards are provided and included in this tour).
Visit the sleepy fishing town of Cervantes for lunch at the scenic waterfront Lobster Shack restaurant (own expense), famous for its delicious local fresh lobster. There are other options in the menu either than seafood to satisfy every taste.
Pinnacles Desert, thousands of bizarre limestone formations up to 4 metres high sporadically scattered over the vast yellow, rippled sand dunes, creating an incredible mystical landscape.
Brief visit at the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre displaying exhibits on the geology, fauna and flora, history and cultural heritage of this area.
Next we drive along the 4 Km dirt track around the desert. Stop for photos and to explore and wander among the pillars of limestone immersing ourselves at this surreal moonlike landscape.
Entry fee to the Pinnacles Desert is included.
