This tour allows you to see one of the highlights of São Miguel Island - the village of Furnas, known for its volcanic activity and hotsprings!
On this tour we will stop in Santa Iria viewpoint, where you will have an amazing view over the ocean and the cliffs/mountains of the north part of the island. Then, we will stop at the local tea plantations that still produce tea to this day - the only factories in Europe still operating.
On our way to Furnas we will stop at Pico do Ferro, an incredible view over Furnas lagoon and then we will stop at "Caldeiras das Furnas", where you will be able to see the volcanic activity at its peak.
You will also have the opportunity to bathe and relax in the local thermal hot springs before returning back to the hotel.
