The Picnic on the Peak is one of our most popular & unique excursions, perfect for a romantic occasion, family experience or a group celebration!
Queenstown has some of the most breath-taking scenery in New Zealand and what better way to enjoy the remarkable views of Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps, than enjoying a champagne picnic perched high up on one of the peaks.

Over The Top will fly you from its helibase to a mountainous location which overlooks Queenstown where you will have 180 degree views of the Wakatipu Basin. Here you will be left to enjoy your champagne picnic of meats, cheeses, salad, fruit and a selection of beverages for as long as you desire.
The helicopter will return to collect you when you’re ready and provide you with a bird's-eye view of Queenstown, before heading back to the Over The Top heli base.
