About this experience

Tour on an e-bike, through which we will visit the most interesting places in Corfu town. That includes archeological sites, historical monuments, the 2 Venetian Fortresses ECC. It is impossible to visit all these places on foot in a singe morning. Instead, this tour will make you do it easily.

Cycling around the Corfu Old town. A town with Italian style, build mostly while the island under the Venetian Rule. Many houses were destroyed by the authorities and population in the 17th century so to get the bricks for completing the constructing of the new fortress of the town.

Mon Repo palace is the place were it had his residence the British commissioner in the 18th century. In that palace prince Phillip was born. After the British commissioner the palace passed to the ex King of Greece as a holiday hause and then, after the abolition of the King, it has passed to the public. This place is a huge garden and holds the 2 most ancient temples of Corfu date to the 6th century b.C.

This is the Oldest Christian Church still operating till today on the Island. It was constructed on the 10th century a.D. by the Eastern Roman Empire and holds relics of the two apostles of Corfu Island, Jason ans Sosipatros.

Destroyed in WWII by bombs, as many other buildings in the old town area, now days is reconstructed. It is located in the Jew neighborhood of Corfu town.

this are in the beginning was holding the Oldest fortress of Eastern Roman Empire which later was "modernized" for their era by Venetians, then the French and last the British. This is still holding today, even if many battles taken place against it. It is one of the unique fortresses of Greece and maybe of the whole Europe

Once the Barracks of the French Army, nowdays a series of cafe's in front of one of the largest squares in the Balcans, the Liston Square. We are going to cycle through it.

An old Monastery, nowadays a church and a touristic attraction situated in front of the most known part of the islan, the Mouse Island. The monastery is situated close to the airport, the ancient port and there we are stoping for around 20 minutes. In this time we are having also some extra soft drinks.
