What you'll see

Experience the diverse landscapes of India's Golden Triangle and immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the cities of Delhi, Agra, Varanasi and Jaipur.

Day 1: Delhi

Get picked up from Delhi Airport or the railway station on arrival and check into your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Delhi

Take a guided tour of Old Delhi to discover highlights such as the Jama Masjid mosque and Chandni Chowk market. Continue to New Delhi for a look at the stone tower of the Qutub Minar and discover the gateway to India at India Gate. Visit the official residence of the president at the Rastrapathi Bhawan, and marvel at monuments such as the Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple and Humayuns Tomb.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur

Depart Delhi for the pink city of Jaipur, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure upon arrival.

Day 4: Jaipur

Go to stunning Amer Fort and enter the complex on elephant back. Drive past the Palace of the Winds, and spend the afternoon at the City Palace to learn more about the Maharajas of Rajasthan.

Day 5: Jaipur - Agra

Leave Jaipur to visit the Mughal city of Agra, stopping at the red sandstone town of Fatehpur Sikri en route.. 

Day 6: Taj Mahal - Overnight Train to Vasranasi

See the Taj Mahal at sunrise, and then visit the Agra Fort and exquisite Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, sometimes referred to as the "Baby Tāj." Go to the Mehtab Bagh gardens in the evening to watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal. Then, take an overnight train to Varanasi.

Day 7: Varanasi

Get picked up on arrival and check in to your hotel. Enjoy an afternoon tour to the temples of Bharat Mata, Durga and Tulsi Manas Mandir and much more. Then, visit the Buddhist city of Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, and marvel at the stupa and temple of the pilgrimage site. Watch the sunset on an evening boat cruise along the River Ganges and experience the Hindu ceremony of AArti. 

Day 8: Varanasi -Delhi

Experience the holy River Ganges at sunrise and see the bathing ghats and cremation site on an early morning boat ride. Fly back to Delhi in the afternoon for the end of the tour services.
