About this experience

This panoramic hike leads us along the famous world heritage trail in the Wachau region, Lower Austria.

Highlights of this varied hike are: breathtaking panoramic views on the Danube, medieval wine growing villages, vineyards, stone terraces, stone oak forests, bizarre rock formations, rare dry grasslands – in short, an overview of the beautiful and protected landscape of the Wachau region (Unesco World Heritage).

Meeting point

Hütteldorf U4 (green line). We meet at Hütteldorf, the endpoint of the green metro line (U4). Just walk along the aisle until you reach the escalator (exit Keisslergasse). To the left, you will see a bakery (Anker). I will be waiting there.

Meeting point: metro stop U4 HUETTELDORF / bus terminal 

U4=green line 

Use the EXIT KEISSLERGASSE and take the escalator. I will meet you right in front of the building. In the building you will find a bakery and toilets if needed.
