7:30am, meet your guide and driver at your hotel lobby and be transferred to Chengdu Panda Breeding Center, a lovely garden with bamboo forests, swan lake, lush trees that will definitely make your visit memorable. In panda base,you will see pandas from baby to adult. Admire the panda babies while they drink, eating bamboos, playful fight, climbing trees, and sleep...etc. See some of the super stars - adolescent pandas (teenagers). There are 5 to 7 teenage pandas (about 3 years old) living in the big open enclosure. In addition to giant pandas, you will also see endangered red pandas. They are part of the raccoon family with long tails and beautiful red furs.
After your visit to the panda base, transfer to catch the high-speed train to Leshan City, which is fast and fun and also presents an opportunity for you to mingle with locals. During the one-hour train ride, you will enjoy the idyllic landscape of the Chengdu plain. In Spring time, the land is blanketed by yellow rapeseed flowers and in summer time, it is carpeted by beautiful bright green rice paddies while in autumn, you will see busy harvest scenes. Upon arrival, try authentic tasty Sichuan style dishes for lunch(Non spicy dishes and vegetarian dishes can be arranged) After lunch, river cruise to the confluence point of 3 rivers to behold the panoramic view of Leshan Giant Buddha. The cruise ship will stop in front of Leshan Giant Buddha,you can take the full picture of the Buddha.In addition, from cruise ,you will see the whole Lingyun mountain like a decline sleeping Buddha.
After cruise, if time permit, your guide will walk you around the old quarter of Leshan city to explore the local life before head back to railway station. Around 4pm, catching a train back to Chengdu. Your guide will transfer you back to your Chengdu hotel where this day trip concludes around 6pm.
