Dongshan Island – The China’s ‘Hawaii Island’ Dongshan Island is a unspoiled natural island located in the South West of Xiamen Island in Fujian Province. The area is famous for its picturesque coastal landscape and expansive bays. Spend ample time to explore the major attractions include Fengdongshi Scenic Area, Maluan Bay and Sufeng Mountain Roundabout Highway. Fengdongshi Scenic Area is a big place with no commercial atmosphere. It has always been the natural wonder of the people on the island and is regarded as a treasure. Maluan Bay is one of the most beautiful bays in Dongshan. You can see the sea is full of fishing boats, which is really spectacular.

Pick up at your hotel from Xiamen at your chosen departure time and take a 2.5-hour scenic car ride to Dongshan Island. Upon arrival, explore Dongshan Island Fengdong Rock firstly .It has always been the natural wonder of the people on the island and is regarded as a treasure. Dongshan Island wind-moving stone is famous for its strange, dangerous and hanging. The huge stone stands on the steep cliff. The top and bottom are round and shaped like Xiantao.
It's a big place with no commercial atmosphere. There are abundant cultural details like emperor temples and historical relics, such as Tongshan ancient city, old city gates. Blue sky, green water and white spray, walking in the scenic area is really a kind of enjoyment.

Then head to Maluan Bay which is located on the east coast of Ma Luan Village in Dongshan Island. It is a natural and beautiful bay. Its bay is in a crescent shape, with Mazu Mountain in the north and Chiyu, Touyu, Eryu and Sanyu in the southeast corner. Because the water in Maluan Bay is very docile, it does not have a reef, and wind waves are small, and the beach is soft and white. The beach is a closed bathing beach, and is ideal for swimming.

After that, transfer to The Sufeng Mountain Roundabout Highway which is 8.53 kilometers long and is equipped with walking trails, observation decks, service areas, parking lots and other tourist facilities. It is a highlight of Dongshan Island scenery. On Sufeng Mountain Roundabout Highway, overlooking Dongshan Island scenery, the mountains and the sea are corresponding, it is a good place to shoot landscapes and portraits.
