About this experience

Small group tour to keep it personal and fun (maximum 7 people).
This experience is fantastic if you are a cheese lover and you want to visit one of the most beautiful cities of Spain, San Sebastian. The drive is gorgeous and you can for sure bring your camera to take some of the best shots of your trip

This full day tour will show the Old Town of San Sebastian, La concha Beach and the very impressive ion sculpture "The Comb of The Wind".

The cheese farm we will visit has won many awards and you will be able to taste all their selection of cheeses as well as to see all their process. The Basque Country is the only region authorised to produce Idiazabal Cheese (The Spanish parmesano). The breed is known as Oveja Latxa. The cheese farm has a small shop in case you want to take some cheese home.

We only work with small groups to keep it personal and flexible.

We will pick you up from Bilbao and drive to San Sebastian. Expect around 1.15 hours.

• You will spend a couple of hours visiting the charming city of San Sebastian. Your guide will show you the most beautiful parts such as La Concha Beach, the Comb of the Wind sculpture and the colourful Old Town!

In this tour from Bilbao you will visit a family cheese maker of Idiazabal cheese. This cheese is made with sheep milk and can only be done in the Basque Country. This experience is fun, dynamic and interactive as you will see the whole cheese-making process and the shepherd dog working with the sheep if the weather allows it. Perfect for cheese lovers and kids!

To finish will round the day off with a wonderful cheese tasting together with some local cider/wine in a beautiful txoko (the Basque common lounge) overlooking the sheep, mountains and valleys.

*Depending on availability from the Cheese Farm is possible that we need to change the order of the visits.
