About this experience

Away Hoi An for a hour by car, Ky Anh Tunnel with 32 kms lenght( 0.5-0.8 meters wide, 0.8-1 meters high), shaped along the village, constructed in 1965 to be hidden place for bomb shelters, was used be the clinic, ware house for fighting with American army. It zigzags around bends, and it is easy to imagine that filled the enemy with foreboding. It runs along bamboo clusters, bushes, straw mounds etc...around Thach Tan Village. At each landmark is a manhole-like entrance. Off course, we step under the hidden tunnel to discover its magic routine like a soldier during war time.
Explore Chien Dan ancient tower built in late 11th century that contains a handful of impressive friezes. These long, rectangular panels are filled with figures carved in relief, in a classic style very similar to that of the Khmer from Angkor. Visting the ancient towers without any touristic.

Ky Anh tunnel with length of 32 kms that contains one is First Aid chamber used for treating wounded VC and NVA soldiers. And another is used as food storage. This temple are known for its strong structure as its 4 columns survived the US and ARVN tanks trying to pull it down. Next, you will go to a nearby water well which is used for supplying water for the locals and also for alerting VC/NVA under it about enemy movements on the ground. You will go down the tunnel at the First Aid chamber beneath Thach Tan temple. The passage of about 0.8 m wide and 1.5 m tall leading you to the nearby exit right under mr Ky's house. Going down again, the passage will lead you to another exit under a nearby haystack. Jumping onto ground, you will have a walk in the Thach Tan village to a nearby entrance/exit under an irrigation ditch.

The tower was built in the late 10th and early 11th centuries, during the Champa period, transferring its capital from Quang Nam to Binh Dinh under the reign of Yan Pu Ku Vijaya. Chien Dan tower now has a tower of three large stupas, but only the central tower is quite intact and still retain the shape of a stupa remains the body and a floor above, while The remaining two towers, the South Tower and the North Tower have completely lost the upper floors, leaving only the tower itself, only the central tower is quite intact.
All three stupas are parallel in parallel, side by side on a row in north-south direction and facing east.
