With an early departure at 5.00 a.m Amboseli day trip is a tour in pursuit of wildlife viewing including great Elephant herds, more animals and maybe possible views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Tour departs from your Nairobi area hotel, private residence or Nairobi airport before dawn and drives via typical African savanna country as you take in the African sunrise.
The early morning drive is approximately 250 km on a 4 hours driving experience via the Main Nairobi to Mombasa road and through Masai plains getting to Amboseli at around 9.00.a.m.The game drive begins for search of wildlife with a visit to the Observation hill and in hope of seeing the Mount Kilimanjaro if weather permits.You shall break for lunch at around 12.30 .p.m at the Serena Hotel/Ol tukai lodge and enjoy hot lunch or you may carry your own packed lunch.
After lunch, you will have an enroute game drive as you proceed to exit the park.This will be followed with a visit to the Masai village later proceed to Nairobi arriving around 7.p.m for drop off.
