Stop 1

After a complimentary pick-up at 8 or 9 am from your hotel in San Francisco downtown or Fisherman’s Wharf , we will drive you to Muir Woods National Monument across the Golden Gate Bridge . In Muir Woods Forest , you can enjoy a self-guided tour to marvel at the giant coastal redwoods. Please note that tour guides are not allowed to guide inside Muir Woods National Monument. Muir Woods is a small forest with very limited parking, your package includes Muir woods parking permit, reservation but not your own entrance tickets to the park ($15 each for 16 years of age and older).
After Muir Woods, we will then visit Sausalito with an optional stop at Muir Beach overlook, weather permitting. Once in Sausalito, you can enjoy a lunch break or take a stroll along the scenic Bridgeway Promenade in Sausalito. There are elegant boutiques,wine tasting rooms, breweries , family-oriented attractions , art galleries, quint shops, seafood restaurants with spectacular views of San Francisco

After your Muir Woods tour, your guide will drive you in your luxury vehicle to Sausalito with a side trip to Muir Beach overlook – an amazing overlook located in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, south of Muir Woods forest. We may also take a hike on a steep and spectacular cliff side park located off California pacific highway, to enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean side cliffs. This is a great overlook where locals come to view migrating whales. Muir Beach, a sheltered intimate cove, with its striking beauty of hanging cliffs and cottages sitting on a steep cliff side, can also be viewed from this vista point. We will visit this overlook when weather permits, as this can be subject to heavy fog and rain sometimes. Also, Muir Beach Overlook is not accessible to large vehicles (of 8 passengers or more like vans or buses)
