Mtskheta (unesco) is a small town in Georgia located 25 km away from our capital city Tbilisi, where is located Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and is the birth place of Christianity in Georgia, history here begins in 3rd century BC and is the one of the most visited place in Georgia.

Our next stop will be in 15 mins driving time, Jvari monastery (unesco) is dated to 11th century and is kept authentically as it was built, is located on top of mountain where from you will have a stunning landscape view how two rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari join each other.

In next 1 hr. driving time we will reach Uflistikhe rock hewn town, where history begins in 2nd millennium BC and is in Unesco heritage list. This is huge complex which includes, meeting halls, theatre, wine cellars, pharmacy, water storage system, baths, pagan and Christian religion spots and churches. while visiting, We will be walking in open area, comfortable shoes and sunglasses are recommended, this is also a perfect place for photos, you also have a beautiful landscape view and enjoy fresh nature.
