Outside the Royal Hotel is where our short audio tour begins, then on to Somerled Square, the centre of Portree, then the highland games ground (The Lump), the historic Apothecary Tower and finally ending at the harbour.

From the Quirang perhaps moreso than any other place on the island, you can see the effect of Skye's shifting landscape. Most people who visit this location don't walk the circuit. So we've not included these guides as a tour with stops to ensure everyone visitng can enjoy the information. We do however have a brief audio to accompany on your visit here.
