Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel lobby in the morning. Then drive about 2 hours to Suzhou.
Upon arrival, you will first visit Humble Administrator's Garden. Listed as World Heritage Site in 1997 by UNESCO, Humble Administrator's Garden is the largest and most renowned classical landscape garden in Suzhou. It is the represent of the gardens in the south region of Yangtze River and considered as the mother of Chinese gardens.
After the Humble Administrator's Garden visit, you will continue to Tiger Hill, a famous scenic area in Suzhou, that attracts visitors with its historical sites and natural beauty. The Tiger Hill Pagoda at the top of the hill has a history of more than 1,000 years and is a landmark of Suzhou City.
After lunch, continue the afternoon tour to the famous water town, Tongli. It is an age-old but very well-preserved water town with a history of more than 1,000 years. It is one of the six famous ancient towns to the south of the Yangtze River.
If you prefer to visit Zhouzhuang Water Town instead of Tongli, please don't hesitate to tell your guide.
Your tour will then conclude with transfer back to your hotel in downtown Shanghai or other downtown area as your request.
