Driver will pick you up from your hotel in Shanghai downtown and transfer to train station. Driver will drop you off at the entrance. You just show your passports when you enter. It takes about half hour by bullet train.
Upon arrival, your guide and driver will pick you up at the train station and transfer to Humble Administrator's Garden. Listed as World Heritage Site in 1997 by UNESCO, Humble Administrator's Garden is the largest and most renowned classical landscape garden in Suzhou. It is the represent of the gardens in the south region of Yangtze River and considered as the mother of Chinese gardens.
After the Humble Administrator's Garden, you will continue to visit Pingjiang Road, located in the center of Suzhou City, is the largest and best-preserved historical block in Suzhou. Walking into the alleyways to observe daily life of people in old times. The delicious local food, all different kinds of handicrafts will give you a wonderful experience. Then you will sit and relax to enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch here.
Continue the afternoon tour to the famous water town, Tongli. It is an age-old but very well preserved water town with a history of more than 1,000 years. It is one of the six famous ancient towns to the south of the Yangtze River.
After the tour is finished, you will be dropped off at Suzhou train station and take the bullet train back to Shanghai. Driver will pick you up at the exit with your name sign and transfer back to your hotel.
