This is an experimental center of plants, Moray has terraces, which have circular shapes that go into the earth, in the form of an amphitheater.

In 1985 studies were carried out by putting thermometers to each of the Inca terraces,the result was temperatures and climate are totally different in each of those terraces.

That is the reason why the place served to acclimatize and domesticate plants and also to improve agricultural production in Inca times.
