Stop 1

You will explore the XiaoYuShan Park(Little Fish Hill Park). It is a classical-style garden well-known as the best spot to enjoy the panoramic city views.

Stop 2

You will visit the Badaguan Scenic Reserve, whose leafy avenues and villas were built by the British, Swiss, and other nationalities during the colonial time of Qingdao.

Built in 1907, this German castle-like building of royal European style was the residence of the German Governor in Qingdao and hence named "Governor's House".

In 1934, it was renamed "Guest House" and became the top-notch hotel in Qingdao. Chairman Mao stayed here in the summer of 1957.

Stop 4

You will stroll along Zhanqiao pier, built in 1891 to enable larger vessels to dock at Qingdao.

Today, the pier stretches 1,312 feet (400 meters) into Qingdao Bay, and boasts a Chinese-style pavilion at one end.

You will be taken to explore the German-style architecture and twin-towered St Michael’s Catholic Church of the charming Zhejiang Road area, Qingdao’s oldest district.

You will tour to the 1903 Tsingtao Brewery, which was built for Qingdao’s one-time German population during the colonial time.

Explore the beer manufacturing facilities, and taste the famous beer.You will be offered to taste a cup of authentic Qingdao Beer for free in the beer museum.

After the beer museum, you may explore the biggest seafood market in Qingdao near by the brewery.

Stop 7

You will visit the largest and oldest preserved temple in Laoshan, Taiqing Temple from 2,000 years ago.

It is the second most important Taoist Temple in China. The Taoists from Laoshan Mountain were famous for their religious knowledge and legendary skills in Taichi.

The Taiqing Temple complex has more than 150 rooms, including two courtyards named Martyr's Shrine and Shrine of Master of Scriptures, and inner temples like Sanguan, Sanqing and Sanhuang with their own gates and walls. Pay attention to the trees you will find on your way, some of them centenaries, like two old cypresses and a rare camellia.

While descending the mountain, you will come across odd shaped stones, caves and imposing cliffs, as well as many clear springs. It is said to be home to some “supernatural spirits” that has inspired poems and emperor’s stories over the course of history.

You will visit the xiaoyushan finishing village right below the Laoshan mountain afterwards.
