About this experience

On the tour to Samaná from Punta Cana, we will sail by motorboat through the bay of Samaná, we will ride a horse to reach El Limón Waterfall, and then we will visit Bacardí Island (Cayo Levantado). Don’t miss out on this exciting adventure!

Samaná is one of the most iconic places in the Dominican Republic and has been the setting for numerous movies and the shooting of programs and reality shows, such as La Isla de las Tentaciones.

On our tour, we will cross the Samaná Bay by motorboat, and board a Safari truck to reach the ranch from which we will depart to El Limón Waterfall on horseback.

We will enter a beautiful tropical forest to reach the impressive 40-meter-high waterfall, in which we can bathe to cool off.

Cayo Levantado or Bacardi Island, is an islet in the Bay of Samaná, which administratively belongs to the Province of Samaná, northeast of the island of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. It is a well-known tourist destination in that country. The closest airport, Samaná, is 68 kilometers away, and the island also has a hotel. It is about 1 kilometer long. It has humid forest vegetation and white sand beaches.
